Katie was able to enjoy her first bowl of baby cereal this past Saturday (6th). She wasn't quite sure about it at first, and just like all babies first time eating, she got more on herself and everything around her than she did in her mouth. Hayden and Kayla both had to have a turn feeding her, and they thought it was the most exciting thing ever!! It was a little difficult (and still is) to feed her when she always ends up turned to the side in her seat. She also loves to grab the spoon and try to feed herself. She is loving the cereal, and now she has something to eat during dinner. Although, she still stares at everything we eat!! Feeding her the cereal at dinnertime gets her tummy all full for a good night's rest. She has been sleeping much better at night and in her own crib (that we finally put up) every night this week.
