Guess who is two? (Two months old that is!!)

That would be our little princess, Katie Sue!! Isn't she just so adorable??? 

She turned two months on the 7th and went into to the doctor for her 2 month check-up on the 11th.  She officially weighs in now at a whopping 10 pounds, 2 ounces and has grown almost 5 inches in length. (She now measures 23 inches!!) She is doing great and Brian, our P.A., was really good with her and even gave her a sweet little kiss on the forehead when he was all done. And he commented that she was such a pretty little baby (which we already knew that!!) She did not get shots that day because our insurance does not cover very much of immunizations, so I still need to get her down to the county nursing service for those:(   Not looking forward to that, but at least at this age, they cry for only a minute then they forget about it.  When Hayden had to go in for his shots for Kindergarten he worried about it for days before, and complained about having to have gotten them for at least a day after he was done!!!

Our little Katie Sue is such a sweetie, and we just love her to pieces.  She is still a really good eater, and still sleeps really well at night.  She is awake during the day for longer periods of time now, but when she does take a nap during the day, we can't just lay her in her bed.  She usually ends up falling asleep while someone holds her, but you can't cradle her like a baby, she prefers being held like this:

And she still likes to sleep in her car seat too.  We finally took her cradle out of our room because she never sleeps in it, not even at night. She usually just sleeps with us, which is fine with me, until we end up with Hayden or Kayla in there too, then it gets a little crowded!!!

She is starting to coo and "talk" to us and has started smiling more in the last couple of weeks.

I just love this age when they start doing all of those cute baby things and start developing a little personality.  Can't wait until she learns to laugh, I'm sure she will laugh at everything that her brother and sister does. She watches every move they make, and they both still adore her.

 

Well, that pretty much sums up what the past month was like with Katie. You know at this age, they still mostly do as Kayla says "Eat, take a nap, poop her pants, take a nap, and poop her pants again!!"
