I guess you could say that decorating a gingerbread house during the holidays is another tradition that we have since we have done that for the last few years. The kids always seem to enjoy it and were exicited when they finally decorated it on the morning of Christmas Eve. We had been telling Hayden for over a week that we would decorate it this day or that day, but something always came up and we didn't get a free chance with Daddy home to help until that morning. Hayden's job was decorating the trees and putting on the candy after Daddy put the icing on the house. 
Kayla's job was to decorate the gingerbread men and to not eat all of the candy!! .
