Cuddle Time

Last night, I was working on changing my blog, and around 9:30, Hayden comes up to me and tells me "Come to bed with me, to keep me warm." After several of these requests (or demands), I had to pull myself away from all my "blogging", and we went to bed. While trying to go to sleep, I turned my back towards him, and he said, "No, you have to hold me." Whoa, where did that come from? Hayden loved cuddling as a baby (unlike Kayla), but as a soon-to-be four year old, the cuddling doesn't happen very often. Anytime he is in bed with us, if we try to hold him or even accidently touch him, he lets us know that isn't what he wants. So, I had to take him up on his offer to hold him, since these occasions are very rare and I had to do it before he changed his mind. I'm glad I decided to go to bed with him, instead of finishing my blogging and sending him to bed alone, because then I would have missed out on that chance to get "cuddle time".
