Slip-n-slidin' into Summer

Hayden got a slip-n-slide for his birthday in March, and he had been ready to try it since the next day. We had kept telling him he would have to wait until summer when it was warmer. So, the day after he finished preschool, he was convinced that he could go slip-n-sliding since it was summer. But we all know that the beginning of May just isn't very warm here. After a few days of him asking over and over if he could go on it, we just had to let him try it out. The results: He slid on it once and was amazed that the water was cold. I guess he thought we could turn on the hot water for him!! So, he wrapped up his towel and got all dry and warm, then slid on it again. He did this a few times, then he was done. Kayla never did slide on it, she just walked up and down the slide getting sprayed by the water.
