We were off the radar for a little time because we were visiting my family in Georgia. The kids and I left on March 31st, then Waylen joined us out there on the 7th, then we arrived home on the 14th. Then, you know it always takes at least a week to get back in to the swing of things after a vacation (or maybe it's just me!!) --We had a great trip and we were lucky to be able to have many days of nice Springtime weather. Although, there were a couple of days that it rained, but it didn't only rain, it poured all day long a couple of the days. But I'd take the rain any day over the snow!! And of course, we enjoyed being able to spend time with my family and it was nice to be able to visit with some of my extended family also. We had a "family reunion" over at my parents' house the Sunday after I arrived. It was one of the days that it happen to rain while we were there, so we ended up with somewhere around 17 kids under the age of 18 (with over half of those being under the age of 8) and about 18 adults all in the house!! It was a full house, but the kids had fun playing and the adults had fun visiting. I even got to visit with a cousin who I haven't seen in probably over 10 years. Her and her 5 girls were also in Waycross visiting. They currently live in Ohio, but will be moving to Colorado Springs this summer. --During out visit, the kids had tons of fun with their cousins. They were busy playing from morning until night. They would play outside on the trampoline, in the dirt, ride bikes, play under the sprinkler, blow bubbles, then they would play inside some too. You name it, they did it!! We had a lot of fun and stayed busy during most of our trip.
I decided it would be much easier to do individual posts about some of the highlights from our trip rather than trying to insert so many pictures in one and moving them all around. Anyway, hope you enjoy reading the following posts about our trip to Georgia.
