Fun at the Mall

After the parade of lights on Saturday night, we went and stayed in Colorado Springs for the night. Then on Sunday, we went and did more Christmas shopping, but when we got to the mall Sunday morning around 10, not very many of the stores were open yet. So, we decided to let the kids play in the play area while we waited until they opened at 11. The kids had so much fun. Kayla and my niece, Sophie, were running all around and doing everything the big kids did. Well, except they didn't attempt to climb on top of this little house like Hayden and my nephew, Ronan.

Then, they also all had to have a turn riding a few of the kiddy rides in the mall too:

By then, all the stores had opened, and it was time to shop, and thankfully we were able to finish up with most of our Christmas shopping. Every year, I say I am going to have it all done by such and such date, and every year I always seem to fail at reaching that goal. There's always next year, right?
