On Christmas Eve, we went over to Waylen's parents and had dinner with them and Waylen's sister, Melody, and her family. After dinner, the kids added the people and animals to the stable while Grandma read a story.
Then we listened to a few more Christmas stories, then Hayden and his cousin, Hailee enjoyed singing us some Christmas songs.
Kayla and her cousin, Lexie, even wanted some time to be front and center.
After all this, we moved on to the birthday party portion of the night, and you ask who is so "lucky" to have a birthday on Christmas Eve?
That would be, Me!!! And the candles say it all, yes, I am offically out of my 20's now. I just can't believe that I'm 30. When I was younger 30 seemed so old. But now that I'm 30, it just doesn't seem that old, or I at least don't feel like I'm old!! -(Not sure what Hayden is doing?)Thanks to everyone (my family in GA included) for all the nice presents and making this birthday a great one!! And sorry that I don't let you all get by with the -Here's your birthday/Christmas present!!
