6 months....

Just like I say every month, I can't believe how fast time flies. My baby is already 6 (almost 6 1/2) months old!!!  She has been pretty busy this past month mastering the art of crawling. Well, she actually does the army crawl but she gets where she wants to get - and sometimes she gets there fast!! Especially when she wants to get where the kids are playing.  It didn't bother Kayla any when she started playing blocks with her...

But it was another story with Hayden -when she wanted to play with his Hot Wheels....

He was worried about her drooling on them!!!

Kayla has always liked Katie (which Hayden has too - more than he did Kayla - but he has never been one to want to hold her or cuddle up with her very often). Whereas, Kayla still loves to cuddle with Katie....

Katie has also been mastering the art of eating - She loves to eat!! She has tried green beans, peas, carrots, peaches, bananas, pears, applesauce, oatmeal, and mashed potatoes.  And the only way she will eat her cereal now is with peaches or bananas mixed in it.  Here she is enjoying some peaches for breakfast:

Oh, yeah. She has tried a little bit of Pepsi too!! (And of course, she loved it, Who doesn't????)
She doesn't like to sit in her bumbo seat very much any more because she wants to be on the floor looking for something to put in her mouth.  But one night, she was being a little stinker and wanted to be right where I was. I had a few dishes I needed to get washed, so I put her in her bumbo and sat her on the countertop where she could see me and I could talk to her.  I sat her in there and within a minute or so she fell asleep!!!

She is still our sweet little princess, is still spoiled (just a little bit), and still has that great big smile that brightens your day!!!

(Not as exciting as Hayden's Spring Fling dance (see next post), but definitely cute!!)

All dolled up for her big night:

Waiting patiently for the ballet to begin:

Who knew that Hayden had such good moves????

I'm sure most of you have seen the video of Hayden dancing at his Spring Fling through my facebook page, but just in case... here it is again!! It's priceless!!

Our Cute Little Bunny.....

Enjoyed Easter too!! And like always - she was ALL SMILES!!!

Even when Daddy made some bunny ears for her.

Playing with the rattle that the Easter Bunny brought her:
All comfy on the couch with Papa Larry:

And our cute little girl is 5 months old today. That is crazy, huh? She is still such a good little baby. Although, she is a bit spoiled and sometimes wants to be held all the time. But then sometimes she will lay on the floor and play for awhile
or ...We got out her bouncy seat and she really likes checking out all of the toys on it. She will stay busy for awhile playing in it, that is until Kayla comes along and starts bugging her.

But the last few days, she has stayed busy and content with trying to crawl:

So, I am sure it won't be long and she will be all over the house - which I am not ready for 1) because she is my baby and I don't want her to grow up too fast and 2) that means that I will have to keep the floors clean of anything she might put in her mouth and choke on - which will be hard with the messes that Kayla makes with all of her toys - which include lots of little toys - like Miniature My Little Pony toys, Barbie shoes, dress up rings/earrings, Hayden's Legos, and the list goes on!!!
Her personality continues to shine through and her smile continues to get bigger and brighter as she continues to grow cuter and cuter every day!!!She has got to be the Cutest Baby in the world (but then I could be a little biased??)!!

Our "Hoppy" Easter

We had a great Easter this year and just like in the years past, the kids were able to enjoy several egg hunts. Hayden had an egg hunt at school on Thursday, then the kids had an egg hunt at the church after school on Thursday, and then on Saturday they had an egg hunt at Grandma Debby's and Papa Larry's.  --Plus they had been hiding eggs at home for at least three weeks before Easter. They just couldn't seem to get enough of egg hunting!!!

The kids ready for the Hunt to begin:

He got a gift card in the mail yesterday from his cousins in GA and guess what he wants to buy.... MORE HOT WHEELS!!!)
Kayla loved that she got a "whole bunch of chapstick" ....

And one last egg hunt.....
