Our "Egg-cellent" Easter

 We spent Saturday over at Waylen's parents. We had a barbecue for lunch with his family, and his Aunt Nancy, her new husband, and two of her daughters were there, and his Uncle Terry and his cousin Trinette's family too. After lunch, the kids had the Easter egg hunt. They had lots of eggs to find, it seemed like close to 300!! Katie loved the egg hunt and it didn't take her long to catch on to what to do. She would pick up an egg and shake it to see if it had coins in it or candy. She was so cute.

And of course, Hayden and Kayla had fun too.

They all found lots of eggs, and each ended up with over $5. The rest of the afternoon, we spent visiting with family and the kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins. And they even enjoyed playing outside although it was really cold that day. Later in the afternoon, the kids dyed eggs and as always they enjoyed that too.

We stayed over there visiting until after 9 that night. --The kids were excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them.

They each got an outfit, a movie (a book for Katie), snacks, and candy. Hayden was really excited that he had gotten Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. After finding the eggs that the Easter bunny had hidden, we had to get ready for church. The kids all looked so cute in their new dresses and suit.

But I couldn't get a good picture of them. They would not cooperate at all. One of them was mad for all of the pictures, if it wasn't Katie is was Kayla. Hayden was good, but he wouldn't smile, he had a goofy grin in all of them. Oh, well, I guess it makes memories!!
