The Snuffy's

Waylen's grandpa turned 90 on Feb. 2nd and his grandma turned 82 on Jan. 30th.  So we had a birthday party for them on Jan. 30th.  When Waylen and I got married, although the Snuffy's are not biologically my grandparents, they became my Grandparents.--My mom's mom passed away before I was born, my dad's dad passed away before I was 8, my dad's mom passed away when I was 12, and my mom's dad (who lived in VA from the time I was really young) passed away a few years ago. So, I have lived much of my life without Grandparents, except for my Great-Grandmother who lived just down the road from us and I was very close too, and she passed away in 2005. The Snuffy's quickly accepted me into their family and as their granddaughter, and I quickly began to love them.  I am very thankful that my kids have had the chance to meet and really get to know the Snuffy's.  They just love the Snuffy's and going to visit them.   --So like I said, we had a party for them on the 30th. All of their children were able to attend:

Nancy, Morris, Debby (my MIL), Gayland, and Terry
Grandpa and Grandma

Of course with having (I think they have it figured out to be) 60+ grandchildren and great-grands- all of their grandchildren and great-grands were not able to attend.  But some were able to be there:

The granddaughters - Courtney, Brittany, Melody, Jacki, Kira, and Trinett (oldest grandchild)
Tiffany (youngest grandchild), Grandma and Grandpa
All of the grandsons that were there had left the party to go do who knows what!!!

Then the great-grands: Not going to name them all, but Katie is the youngest great-grand in the picture. However, they have one younger than her born in January, plus a few more that are due this year!!!

Grandpa relaxing during the party:
Every year during Grandpa's parties (birthdays, Christmas, etc.) he says "Well, this is going to be my last one!!" --This is what my Great-Grandma use to say, plus she would also say to me "Well Faith, I hope that I live to see you graduate, ... live to see you get married, ... live to see your kids...." But she kept on ticking, just like Grandpa Snuffy does!!!
