Life with the Hoover's: Look at Me....I'm now Three (months old)!!!

Wow, how time flies by, and it seems the older I get the faster it flies, which means my kids are growing up way too fast!!! I just want time to slow down and I don't want our little Katie Sue to grow up so fast. She is now 3 months old and is just the sweetest little baby.

She has started smiling lots more. There have been many times that I am holding her while she's sleeping, and I look down at her and there she is just looking at me, and she'll just give me the sweetest little smile that just melts my heart every time. Well, except for when she wants to smile at me and "talk" to me at 4 in the morning!!! This has been her thing for the past couple of days.

She learned a few "tricks" this past month. Uncle Tyler taught her how to howl like a coyote one night. He would tilt his head back and howl, and then she would try it, and she finally did it a couple times (with the head tilt and all). It was so cute!! Then, she has learned to "blow raspberries" (not sure if that's what you would call it or not) but it leads to lots and lots of spit and drool. But she loooooves it!! Sometimes she'll do it before you do it to her, then if you do it back.... the game has started.

Another thing she learned this month was: she found out that she likes sucking on her fingers

but we have gotten her to start taking a pacifier more often now

Kayla still loooooves Katie and usually wants to hold her first thing every morning

or snuggle up right next to her and give her lots of kisses!!!

Katie has started playing under her play mat now and Hayden was really excited when Katie was playing one night and grabbed hold of one of the toys. He started screaming and giggling "She's holding the toy. She's holding the toy." It keeps her entertained while I do my workout in the mornings, and one morning, I looked over and she had fallen asleep.

Here's another one of Katie sleeping. There is something about when she is sleeping, I just have to take a picture of her, not sure why though. She was pretty comfy sitting in the corner of the couch and she ended up sleeping like that for a couple of hours!!!

But as she starts to smile more, I can get more pictures of our little princess with her cute little smile that (like I said earlier) just melts your heart!!!
