Hayden's Field Trip to the Alligator Farm

Back in October, Hayden went on a field trip with his Pre-K class to the Alligator Farm. I went with him, but forgot to take my camera, and then I never did write about it for some reason. Probably because there's just not much to tell about the Alligator Farm. I had never been, so I thought well, I'll go and check it out with him. I guess since I grew up in "Swamp" country, I have some high expectations to the size of alligators. Yes, there were some "big ones" there as all the kids called them, but nothing like what the Okefenokee Swamp as to offer. Then, it was kind of weird that they had emus, goats, chickens, and other "farm" animals there too!! Anyways, the other day Hayden came home with this picture that one of the other moms had taken of him at the Alligator farm holding one of the baby gators.
It was such a cute picture I had to post it, he loved being able to hold the gator and liked seeing all of the alligators. --I guess next time we go back to GA we'll have to take him to the Swamp again, (we went when he was like 18 months) and he can see some REAL alligators and may even see one walking around in the parking lot again!!

Ronan would die for the chance to hold an alligator.
