Trip to Sand Dunes

My family arrived on May 30th at around 12 in the morning. We were happy to see them and glad that they had arrived safely. We decided to go to the Sand Dunes the first day they were here. My brother (jokingly?) said he was going to hike all the way to the top of the Sand Dunes. So, Bradley, my dad, and the kids started on their little hike up the Dunes. Not long after they began, here came my niece, Nicolette, carrying Hayden back. He had had enough and didn't like getting all the sand in his shoes. He had "unpreparedly" worn his beloved Cars shoes instead of tennis shoes. So, Nicolette and him ended up playing in the water, but we told them not to get too wet since we "unpreparedly" didn't have towels. They still had fun standing in the water and digging their feet into the sand. Kayla on the other hand, wasn't as good at not getting too wet. She ended up getting soaked from head to toe, but had a lot of fun doing it. --The weather was actually pretty nice that day, and luckily the wind wasn't blowing too bad. It was a nice little trip to the Sand Dunes, and the kids had a lot of fun. But maybe next time we decide to go to the Sand Dunes, we'll be a little more prepared.

We were going to take a trip to the Sand Dunes with Tyler's family but the wind never let up the whole time they were here.

I can't wait to go to the Sand Dunes, that is if the wind ever stops blowing. I really don't need a full body microdermabrasion from the blowing sand, but who knows, maybe my skin would be radiant!
