TIME FOR CAMPING!!
We went on our annual Memorial Day weekend camping trip again, and had a great time again, and thankfully this year, the weather was really nice the whole time. The weekend was full of:
Lots of Hiking
Frisbee, lawn darts, horseshoes, A to Z scavenger hunt
lots of yummy food (including s'mores),- the boys (my nephew, Ethan, went with us) "carving" with the knives, which resulted in only a few little cuts and only one knife accidentally thrown in the fire
- Kayla playing in the dirt = her getting reallllllly dirty

Katie wasn't the happiest camper the whole weekend, but she did o.k. We did our best at keeping her happy and entertained by putting her in her portable crib with toys for awhile, then her bouncy seat for awhile, then she really liked crawling around on the blanket and getting to the edge of it, so she could play in the dirt. She liked going on the hikes and being "Katie the Kangaroo". Even though, it was hard and is definitely going to be difficult this year taking her camping, we wouldn't want to go without her because her cute little smile (and cute little personality) just brightens our day!!!
