Ta-da

One day last week while my dad was here visiting, Kayla came running into the living room with nothing on but a shirt. She runs in and threw her hands up in the air and said "Ta-da". It was so funny, me and my dad died laughing. --Yes, she still hates to keep a diaper on, and we tried potty-training some, but it just wasn't going very well. I would take her to the potty every 15 minutes, she would go once, then the next time she wouldn't, then 5 minutes after I'd taken her, she'd pee in her panties. Then, she wouldn't potty anymore, she'd always wait and pee after I had just taken her. So, after a few days of this, it seemed like she just wasn't getting it. So, we're postponing the potty training for a few more weeks until after I'm done helping Debby with all the canning. It's just too hard right now to remember to take her potty every 15 minutes. Although, tonight she took off her diaper and put on just a pair of shorts, and it was almost time for her bath, so I just let her go like that. We were out in the garage with Waylen and she started doing what looked like the "potty dance", so Waylen brought her in, and she did go potty. Yeah!! So, it's a work in progress!!
